Description

The SCANTEAM 2000 is a compact keyboard wedge that merges, magnetic stripe, and MICR data to virtually all types of terminal interfaces. The product supports the full range of Welch Allyn bar code scanners (wands, CCDs, and lasers), magnetic stripe, and MICR readers.

Supported interfaces are: All PCs, Terminals: IBM, DEC, HP, WYSE, NCR, Nixdorf, and Fujitsu. A bi-directional auxiliary port allows integration of RS-232 devices (e.g., scales, gauges, portable data collection computers, printers).

ST2000 series products are fully programmable via an easy-to-use bar code menu. Configuration is stored in Flash  EPROM allowing cloning and update to new Welch Allyn software releases, extending your investment to new features as they are released.

Rapid, accurate autodiscrimination of 13 codes at 3 to 50 inches/second. Instantly switches data source between keyboard, bar code, and magnetic stripe data input.
